If you are looking for a suitable, all in one printer that is capable of performing your basic printing, scanning and copying, than the Kodak ESP C310 all in one device may just be what you are looking for. The printer is less expensive than many of its competitors, so you don’t break the bank when buying the equipment, although you do need to take into consideration the good and bad features of the equipment before considering making a purchase.
The printer is able to create a photo grade, 4×6 photograph in at least 38 seconds. When using the actual printer tray and creating documents in the standard 8.5×11, you are able to create up to six pages per minute using black ink, or four pages per minute using color. The printer uses two different cartridges, one being black the other containing magenta, yellow and cyan ink. There is one down side to using a single ink cartridge that holds all three colors. If you use a large amount of cyan ink, but no yellow, you need to replace the cartridge when the cyan ink is gone, even though you may have a large amount of yellow ink. Other printers have a single cartridge for different ink colors, allowing you to replace only the cartridges you have used up.
The printer connects to a computer via either a USB data cable or through a wireless sync. This is helpful, as many different devices can use the printer, without actually wired to the equipment. This makes the printer a nice option for a small office or home.
The scanner is able to import images at a dots-per-inch resolution of 1200. The Kodak ESP all in one printer is than able to convert the equipment to 9600 dpi using installed software. With the equipment you are able to make solid prints and scans, without spending a large amount of money on larger, more expensive all in one printers.
